PRP Chief meets new Andhra Pradesh Governor Narasimhan

Praja Rajyam Party Chief Chiranjeevi, along with senior leaders of the party, Kotagiri Vidhyadhara Rao, C Ramachandrayya, Vedavyas, Talari Manohar met the newly appointed In-charge Governor of Andhra Pradesh E S L Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan today. The meet took place for about 15 minutes.

The meet, though ought to be a courtesy visit to welcome the Governor to the state, gained a little significance with PRP asking the Governor to stop the upcoming Telagana bundh. The PRP even has offered to mediate efforts to cool down the tense situation that is prevailing in the state following the recent activities related to Telangana statehood. PRP offered itself to join with other political parties in Andhra Pradesh in brining the life of the common man to normalcy.

The PRP leader has submitted his resignation for his MLA position few days ago and has geared the party to fight for an integrated state. His Visakhapatnam tour helped him garner support and made PRP get a name for being the only political party that has categorically clarified its political stance. Nakrekal PRP leader Dilip along with his Pro-telangana slogans premises of Geeta Arts which belongs to PRP general secretary Allu Aravind. Chiranjeevi termed the recent attacks on film celebrities, artists and their properties as those done in anger, anxiety and haste. PRP has taken the struggle for a united andhra a step ahead by placing itself in a position to spearhead Joint Action Committee for United Andhra.
