Allu Aravind begins damage control exercise

The Praja Rajyam Party general secretary Allu Aravind on Saturday addressing a press conference that began one hour behind the schedule along with the BC leader Naragoni and Labmbadi Hakkula Porta Samithi president Ramesh Naidu, Allu Aravind said as part of social justice, the party has alloted tickets to 104 BCs the highest among all the parties. He however, could not give a proper reply to disclose how many of there were below poverty line.

Naragoni who left the Praja Rajyam Party sometime ago for failure of the party leadership to commit the number of seats to be allotted to BCs before elections rejoined the party at the press meet. He said had left the party in a huff when Allu Aravind expressed inability to specify the number of seats to be given to BCs. He said when the party fielded 104 candidates, Naragoni congratulated him and he immediately came to the party fold.

Allu Aravind brushed aside the reports on resentment among fans and said the fans were quite enthusiastic for ensuring victory for the party. Naidu announced support to the party for allotting 14 Assembly seats to their community and fielded former IPS officer DT Naik from the Moinabad Lok Sabha constituency.
