News and Information about Praja Rajyam Party
The Praja Rajyam Party has decided to intensify its agitation for a unified state by launching a campaign from January 3 in several districts of Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema which the party president K Chiranjeevi did not visit during the first leg of his tour.
The campaign will commence with a public meeting to be addressed by Chiranjeevi at Srikakulam on Sunday and a decision to this effect was taken by a meeting of the party's senior leaders in Hyderabad on Friday. K Vidyadhar Rao, senior leader said that during his tour, Chiranjeevi would meet intellectuals, educate general public, particularly youth on the need to keep Telugu people and land united.
Based on the outcome of the January 5 and the stand taken by the Centre at the meeting, the Praja Rajyam Party would plan out its strategy. A Joint Action Committee would also be formed, if required, with like minded people who come forward for the cause of united State, he said.
It may be recalled PRP has made moves to spearhead the United Andhra campaign few days back.
