Tirupati MLA and President of erstwhile Praja Rajyam Party K Chiranjeevi said that some more MLAs who deserted the Congress party to sail with Jagan's YSR Congress Party would come back to Congress party.
Speaking at a press meeting in Hyderabad, Chiranjeevi said that more MLAs would join Anantapur MLA B Gurunath Reddy who attended a public meeting along with Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy in Anantapur. Chiranjeevi attended a meeting along with party leaders C Ramachandraiah and Avanthi Srinivas.
Chiranjeevi said that the reputation of Jagan Mohan Reddy further went down with the arrest of Karnataka Minister Gali Janardhan Reddy by the CBI. Janardhan Reddy was arrested last week in Karnataka and was brought to Hyderabad. Chiranjeevi also criticized Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu for claiming no involvement in the Emaar properties case. He said that it was during the former Chief Minister's regime that the lands of poor farmers in the state were recovered by the government for golf course.
