Action plan from Sitaram likely to create the face of politics from Srikakulam region
Hyderabad, September 3, 2008
Senior Politician from Srikakulam Tammineni Sitaram is likely to join the Chiranjeevi Praja Rajyam Party (PRP) as per reports in the press. Sources say that Sitaram is dissatisfied with the state of affairs at the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and that he has held discussions with his supporters over his decision.
Sitaram has recently met Bhuma Nagi Reddy, also a TDP Politician who bid good bye to the TDP to join Praja Rajyam. Sitaram is also believed to have not changed his decision despite TDP leaders B Gopalakrishna Reddy and Tummala Nageswara Rao tried to convince him.
However, there is no official confirmation about Sitaram joining the Chiru party as of now. TDP Politburo member Yerran Naidu denied that Sitaram is leaving TDP and that the new is a mere media creation. Despite this, any action plan from Sitaram is likely to create a bit of sensation, at least in the Srikakulam region for now.
