Chiranjeevi celebrates his 55th birthday

Kanna Babu and Ganta Srinivas Rao are the only two MLAs present on the occasion

Praja Rajyam Party President and actor-turned-politician K Chiranjeevi celebrated his 55th birthday at his residence and party office in Hyderabad. Speaking on the occasion, he called the party cadre to made wide publicity of the message of the party of change and social justice to the masses.

The birthday celebrations of the party president however has given a mixed message to the general public. K Kanna Babu and Ganta Srinivas Rao are the only two MLAs of the 17 PRP MLAs present on the occasion. Party sources tried to rescue themselves by saying that the remaining MLAs are organizing the celebrations at their respective constituencies.

Speaking to the media, Chiranjeevi has denied media reports that said that he is winding off the party and is joining in the Congress. He said that it is an impossible thing. His brother Pavan Kalyan admitted that he is facing difficulties in balancing film and political life primarily because of his commitments. His son Ramcharan Teja said that the recent success of Maghadheera is a gift to his father.
