Congress leaders of Narsapuram constituency vow to trounce Chiranjeevi

Takes pledge before the Chief Minister to work unitedly and defeat Praja Rajyam

The Congress leaders of Narsapuram constituency in West Godavari district on Friday took a pledge before the Chief Minister, Dr.YS Rajasekhara Reddy to work unitedly and defeat Praja Rajyam party president Chiranjeevi, if he enters the fray from crucial segment.

At a review meeting with the Chief Minister, Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy, this assurance was given by the leaders headed by Minor Irrigation Minister, Maganti Venkateswara Rao. They were said to have questioned the actor's contribution in the last few decades.

The leaders maintained that the enthusiasm show by Kapu youth welfare before the launch of the Praja Rajyam was not visible now. They told the Chief Minister that several Mandal level Telugu Desam Party leaders were joining the Congress. The Chief Minister asked the party men to extensively tour villages and interact with the people and address their problems.
