Two PRP MLAs oppose party's stand on United Andhra

Says Praja Rajyam not standing by its party manifesto

Hyderabad, January 8, 2010

Legislators belonging to the Praja Rajyam Party have once again showed their difference in their views and that of the party. At least two MLAs of the PRP have come out and have bluntly opposed the stand of the party and its leader Chiranjeevi.

Just a day after Chiranjeevi met Union Home Minister P Chidambaram, two PRP MLAs, Maheswar Reddy and Anil have asked for the Telangana statehood as early as possible. It may be recalled Anil has submitted his resignation to the party and has joined Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS). PRP however is still to accept the resignation.
