Warangal Praja Rajyam District-in-charge Siddartha Goud roughed up

Chiranjeevi fans goes berserk after not getting due recognition in party committees

Warangal, October 13, 2008

A section of Warangal Chiranjeevi fans, lead by Karate Prabhakar and his associate Thota Naveen roughed up Warangal District-in-charge Siddartha Goud after their group did not get any due recognition in the party district level committees. Supporters of the two groups bashed each other by throwing slippers and plastic chairs at each others.

The two groups went into an argument as soon as Goud entered the party office. He is chased to his hotel where the arguments resumed. Goud was finally forced to vacate the hotel to avoid any more untoward incidents.

The clashes of fans exposes the need for the party to have stronger leadership and unity in its activities. Party fans say that it is unfortunate that the incident has happened particularly when its leader is touring coastal andhra region.
