Owner of premises rented for PRP office himself joins Congress

Warangal, August 30, 2009

The Praja Rajyam Party Warangal District has fell into such a difficult time that it lost its top district-level leaders as well as the office premises itself. The situation arose when the top and the second-level leaders have changed their stance and moved to the Congress party.

PRP Warangal unit district president has bayed good-bye to the party and joined the Congress in the presence of the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy. On the other hand, the owner of the property that is rented for the PRP in Warangal too joined the Congress. With this, the party office now has to turn off the PRP banners.

Some sections of the party feel that the district leadership have actually test tried their political stance by standing in the elections with the PRP ticket and with the party unable to fire, they have decided to leave the party and join a bigger party where they can have better chances.
